Free Fire (+ 15mins of 3D Ghost In The Shell)

Another cracking Monday night movie.
This had the added bonus of some 'mystery' 3D footage. When I chatted to the girl on the counter she thought it was 'Guardians Of The Galaxy 2'..
She was way off.. It turned out to be 'Ghost In The Shell'..
The 3D Future vision of 'where ever it was' looked impressive and Bladerunner 2048 might have some competition..

The main movie was an advanced preview of Ben Wheatley's latest.. To be honest I haven't seen any of Mr Wheatley's movies. He reminds me of Quentin Tarantino. His movies are adult orientated, have excellent dialogue and are usually unpredictable (that's the main reason I haven't that any of his other!)
To quote IMDb.. "Set in Boston in 1978, a meeting in a deserted warehouse between two gangs turns into a shootout and a game of survival."... and that pretty well sums it up really.
This film was funny.. It was laugh-out-loud funny in some places.. Sharlto Copley had the best lines as "Watch and Vern" the arms supplier. Armie Hammer was surprisingly funny too.. All in all it was an enjoyable hour and a half.. Perhaps I ought to check out the rest of Mr Wheatley's catalogue..
**** Star movie
