London Has Fallen

At last... Odeon have gone Limitless..
London Has Fallen is the sequel to the enjoyable, but ultimately throwaway Olympus Has Fallen and has all the original cast (those that weren't knifed, shot or blown up that is..). Gerard Butler slips easily into Mike Banning, the head of presidential security and his personal trainer.  Aaron Eckhart is Benjamin Asher, US President looking after his (not in this movie) son and America (obviously!)
After the UK Prime minister dies all major world leaders descend on London for the state funeral.. It's during this gathering that all hell breaks loose and one by one the world dignitaries are killed off.. All except the US President..
This film started off pretty lame.  Lame dialogue and equally lame cliques are churned out one after the other and it only picks up when Gerard Butler starts dispatching bad guys and and issuing 'Arnie like' one-liners (he even says "get to the chopper" and "I'll be back")..

This is the first film from Odeon Limitless that I've 'actually' seen after I couldn't make Grimsby earlier this month. It was 'ok'.. It would have Taken 2/3 and Diehard 5 bad if it wasn't for Gerard and the 15 certificate..
Overall it was an entertaining ***.
