This was a last minute viewing and as it turns out it wasn't that bad... really.
This one's a sci-fi/horror directed by the son of Sir Ridley Scott himself (he helped with production too). So you know it's got a good pedigree to start with. The plot's very similar to last years excellent Ex-Machina with shades of his dad's classic Bladerunner.
Morgan is a genetically engineered human in an off-grid, hidden away, underground lab (as only dodgy laboratories seem to be.)
After 5 years growth there's an 'incident' and a member of staff is poked in the eye.. Actually, I played that down a bit.. it was more 'stabbed'..
Anyway, as a result Lee Weathers (Kate Mara), A corporate risk-management consultant is called in to 'assess the risk'..
It creeps along at a reasonable pace
