This is Dexter Fletchers telling of Eddie Edwards life story (so far). From his humble up bringing as a child with a dodgy knee right up to him coming last in the ski jump at the 1988 Calgary Olympics.
In all fairness it wasn't the cheese fest I was expecting. Tarron Egerton was excellent as Eddie. Even Huge Jackman put in a perfectly acceptable performance as the Eagles alcoholic, non-wolverine, fictionalised coach. It had humour and tension.
Granted there was cheese, but ultimately it was a feel good movie. Ideal Saturday afternoon fare..
