Another Screen Unseen and another corker from Odeon.
Here we find Greg (Thomas Mann), a young lad who spends his time blending in with every 'group' at school and making parody films with his 'co-worker' Earl (R J Cyler). Then one day he's forced by his hippy parents (played by the excellent Connie Britton and Nick Offerman) into spending time with a newly diagnosed cancer sufferer, Rachel (Olivia Cook)..
Again this is not the sort of film I'd choose. I haven't seen "The Fault In Our Stars" but from what I've heard this is a funnier version.. Actually, to be honest I found this hilarious in places.. The movie references and parodies certainly helped.. It perhaps got a little too sentimental towards the end for my liking, but then it is a film about cancer so what d'you expect..
Overall, well worth seeing and another £5 well spent.. ***1/2
